This year as we headed to NV for Greg to work we stopped by the Grand Canyon. Stopped by is what I mean. The kids looked at it and oh nice...
Can we just climb on these rocks over here please....
and the trees over here?
So after staying about an hour at the beautiful Grand Canyon we headed to Bearizona! This was much more to the kids liking!
They were excited to see the wolves, bears, rams, and buffalo's (white and black).
Then after driving through the park of wild animals, they had like a little zoo with otters, who were napping, until my kids yelled at them and the one picked up its head so you can see his face.
Now just like all babies/toddlers/kids... the baby bears were up playing while all the other animals were napping and resting. These cubs were having a great time!
We could hardly believe they were climbing this little skinny tree... two of them at the same time...
Now to get to NV, we spend MANY hours on the road. This year in addition to lots of movies, I brought coloring books, books, and the very special kindle fire...
and Nintendo DS which entertained the girls for a long time.
Eli however, needed a little bit more to keep him entertained...
