Part 3

Last Friday !we went to a bounce house type of place in Reno where the kids played for hours and wore themselves out... it was nice

That evening we went to a local park where the kids climbed the tree longer than they played on the playground.

Saturday morning we went to beautiful Lake Tahoe. The kids loved climbing the rocks and playing in the COLD water!

We also had an infestation of chipmunks... we brought some snacks with us and evidently they could smell them and then called their friends over (granted the snacks were cashews and peanuts). At one point there were probably 8 chipmunks climbing around us and into our bag.
I know you thought I was not on the trip, but I am! this was the hardest picture to take. What you can't see is that we are standing on a big bolder trying to get everyone in the picture... I said four out of five with smiles and looking at the camera... perfect family shot!
That afternoon the town we are staying in had a little parade... by little I mean little... if we had been two minutes late we would have missed it! There was also a tractor to climb on...
a fire truck to climb on...

and a gun fight show to watch.
Elizabeth however, did not like the loudness of the gun fight! She did not make it long in watching the show before she had to get away from the sound.
Saturday night we went to a co-workers house for dinner. The kids had a great time playing....until Caroline fell off the trampoline. We were watching her arm, did not see swelling the next day and she said it felt better and she was moving it more.. so we thought she was ok. Well today she said "mom I think my arm might be swollen". I looked at it and it was not a might but big time swollen... so off we went to an emergent care center. They saw swelling in her elbow joint but did not see a break but decided to be safe and splint her arm... we will follow up next week with our doc once we get home. The good news is that the Jennings family is officially done playing on trampolines!!!!
