After the first two days of our vacation it was cloudy with scattered showers, so we did lots of museums. This is the first of many... it was a perfect day for this one because it was cloudy with no rain yet... It is the
Brookeshire Wildlife Museum. I have no pictures of the wildlife, but there was a lot of stuffed wildlife in the museum and it was a free museum!!! That is always the best. After visiting the museum they had a great playground outside. We did not actually let Caroline play on the playground part of it (
cus she would have been there all day and we had more museums to see), but she did get to climb all over this 1952 fire engine... and

this mid-1800's caboose... and

this tractor!

Another great place we went was to the Rose Garden in Tyler. They have such a beautiful garden with a big grassy area that Caroline could
frolic in.... that is coming up later.

There was also a little demo garden in the rose garden... Caroline is playing hide and seek in that garden. She had a great time running around. Greg and I were HOT... we both had a baby strapped to our bellies and it was humid!

Here is the long awaited
frolic in the grassy area....
A big to do in Tyler is the Rose Festival. At the Rose Garden is a museum which holds all kinds of beautiful dresses that past Rose Festival Queens have worn... Caroline wanted to play dress-up with all the dresses!

Greg wanted in on the dress up action too... check out that Vogue face...
ooppsy I mean
GQ face:)

Caroline with the dresses' again... there were a lot and I only took a picture of a few of them.
