Vacation Part 1

We had a great condo that we stayed in all week. It had a full kitchen, plus two big bedrooms. The front room where the kids slept also had a smaller kitchen. The "master bath" was huge!!! We had a great big tub which we played in on rainy days. We would put our bathing suits on and all get in the tub... well Eli and Elizabeth did not participate when we were all in the tub, but they did get to take a bath in the hug tub.

The resort also had a water park similar to Great Wolf Lodges water park... as in it was indoors, had all the things the Wolf has but on a smaller scale. Caroline loved it!!!! Her favorite thing was the lazy river... so we would say "one more time around the lazy river then we are going down a slide" and she would have a great time on the slide but always went back to the lazy river.

We also had a little private beach area on Lake Palestine. The negative was there was no access to the water.. you can see it but there is a drop off to get into the water and signs posted all over saying no swimming, no diving, no jumping shallow water. Caroline had fun playing in the sand, then would go to the pool which was right there by the sand.

This was our great swimming pool we got to use. It had a hot tub, small pool, plus a splash pool. There was also a little waterfall going into the splash pool which was a great entertainment... and another waterfall going into the pool.

Outside the pool's fence was this little splash area. Caroline would have a great time running through all the water shooting up from the ground.

So one time Greg and Caroline were in the pool swimming and Greg gave Caroline a zerber on her belly.... it then caused air to fill her swim suit up top...so Caroline gets all excited and says "look at my breasts" and starts patting them.... she thought it was sooo funny that she had "breasts".

This is what Eli and Elizabeth did most of the time we were swimming. We have some sweet friends who let us borrow this little contraption that sits off the ground a little yet provides a safe, shades area for them to sleep. I will say they did do quite a bit of sweating in this little thing. It does let a breeze through...if there was a breeze otherwise it is just HOT!

Here is the great entertainment for the waterfall into the splash pool. I think it was to see how much water you could push over the waterfall by leaning on the wall.

Here are just some random pics from our vacation that I did not know where to put. This is Elizabeth head in Greg's hands!!! He either has big hands or she has a small head or both!

Precious little feet... they were sleeping and their feet were touching so I took a cute picture of them... Can you guess whose foot is whose?

Caroline and Elizabeth watching something on TV. We don't really let Eli and Elizabeth watch TV, but she and Caroline were having some sweet sisterly cuddle time.
