As a reward for Caroline getting smiley faces at school, we had a "camp-out" winter style. That means the tent was in the living room, which meant the couch was against the wall and the chairs in the breakfast nook with little room to walk around. In the spirit of camping out Greg turned the heat down to 63 degrees so it would be a bit cool for us during the night:)
We played "go shopping" (similar to go fish but barbie style),
uno, watched a movie and did some sleeping in the tent... oh and we did have the lantern instead of using out lights... that was probably
Caroline's favorite thing. She loves the lantern.
Eli and Elizabeth did not get the full
camp out experience this time. They had to sleep in their cribs during the night, but they did get plenty of play time in the tent during the day. The next morning Caroline did make us all breakfast... toast sandwiches with a small swipe of jelly between the toast slices.
