5K!

Well we did our first family race! Caroline did the 1 mile fun run, Greg (pushing Eli and Elizabeth) and I did the 5k race. It was forecasted to rain, but there was a small band of dryness that we were hoping was going to be during the race. The good news.... it was dry when Caroline ran. Here we are getting ready for the fun run. I am telling Caroline to stay with the Demopoulos family (the ones on the left of the picture) during the run. Notice, we dressed Caroline in pink so we could find her easily in the crowd... good thing since most were in white.

so evidently Caroline got tired as you can see she is being pushed too. Way to go Tom pushing 3 kids.

At the end of the race everyone got a ribbon and cow bell (everyone including Eli and Elizabeth). So we now have 5 cow bells that I have said will be outside only toys.

All the kids hung out in the dry pavilion during the rain storm that Greg and I ran in. They had lots of food there and a person making balloon animals.

Here we are after the race... yes sopping wet!!!! Not a dry part on us... including Eli and Elizabeth. Thankfully I had dry clothes for them to change into. Our friend Martha ran with us while her hubby kept up with 6 kids.!
