We went to the circus again this year. We did things a little different. Last year we went to the circus in Ft. Worth, this year we went to the one in Dallas and took the train to get there. Caroline was so excited to get to ride the train! It was a double
decker so
guess where we sat... you are right if you said the top section. We also had to travel on the train schedule and not ours, so we got up really early to make it to Dallas before the circus
pre-show began.
By the time we made it to Dallas it was pouring down rain. Now I will admit that we are not always the brightest bulb around. As we were driving to Ft. Worth Greg and I talked about how it looked like it was raining east of us. Guess where Dallas is? If you said east you are correct. Did either of us grab the umbrella that is in the car..... NO! So we got soaked!!! The picture below is just after getting off the train and running to shelter. After this we rain a little ways to get the AA center where the circus was.
Thankfully they opened the doors for us so we could now dry off in the cold building.
We made it to the
pre-show though and that is what is important... Caroline actually loved getting wet, until we made it in the building where she then complained of being cold. During the
pre-show we saw goats, dogs, and horses doing different tricks. My camera unfortunately did not take great pictures while at the
circus... sorry.
We also got to see the elephant paint a picture!
Caroline got to sit on one of the motorcycles? is that what the thing with three wheels is called? I don't really know what to call it, but Caroline enjoyed sitting on it.

Is it really that hard to have three people look at the camera and smile all at the same time? Well it is for my family, two out of three is not bad.
I don't remember what is going on at this point, I just remember that Caroline was so excited about it that I had to try and capture it on the camera.
After a very long day we are finally on our way home. Once we got back to Ft. Worth we decided since we were in town to go to Costco... so we bought some groceries but also one of their big pizza's. I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but Caroline has
tomato sauce from the pizza all over her. She is still not the neatest eater!
