Last Weeks Fun!

Ok so I had great plans to have something sweet written to my hubby for valentines day along with a picture of our valentines present, however, it has been exactly a week since valentines day and I am just now getting around to it... so nothing sweet just a pic of what we ate that was sweet! We have had such beautiful warm weather last week which does help make up for the cold cold week we had. We were able to get out on the trampoline in short sleeves and expend some energy. Love the static-y hair that comes with playing on the trampoline:)

Saturday we got to spend a little time with cousin Hannah. She turned 7 yrs old on Saturday and had a roller-skating party. Caroline did not think we got to spend enough time with her but sometimes too much of a good thing is too much:) Like too much time together and they argue... but just a little bit of time together and it is not enough... but no arguing... which is better?

Camping

As a reward for Caroline getting smiley faces at school, we had a "camp-out" winter style. That means the tent was in the living room, which meant the couch was against the wall and the chairs in the breakfast nook with little room to walk around. In the spirit of camping out Greg turned the heat down to 63 degrees so it would be a bit cool for us during the night:) We played "go shopping" (similar to go fish but barbie style), uno, watched a movie and did some sleeping in the tent... oh and we did have the lantern instead of using out lights... that was probably Caroline's favorite thing. She loves the lantern. Eli and Elizabeth did not get the full camp out experience this time. They had to sleep in their cribs during the night, but they did get plenty of play time in the tent during the day. The next morning Caroline did make us all breakfast... toast sandwiches with a small swipe of jelly between the toast slices.

Fun day in pj's. Caroline loves playing with her brother and sister. Eli does not like to stand up but for his sister he will do almost anything! Here is a pic of my sick boys! Eli loves to cuddle. Elizabeth is too busy to take time out to cuddle. The boys had some good rest time together this morning before nap/work time.

Bad Hair Day!

I tried to comb his hair down, put a hat on it then decided its a cold wintery pajama day so why not add bad hair day to it? He did not mind.

Uncomfortable and Cold

This is a picture I took last week. Eli had been fussy fussy so Greg sat him in his crib. I went to check on him once he quieted down and this is what I found.... How is that comfortable at all to sleep? Bent over halfway sound asleep sucking on his thumb!

Well winter has arrived! School was cancelled today due to the ice. About 3am I heard the sleet hitting my window. I finally fell back asleep round 5am only to be woken again at 530am by the school calling to say classes were cancelled. I tried to take a picture of the ice... all that white is ice!

I did not get any pictures of Caroline playing in it... but she did. She ate some of the ice, walked around on the trampoline with the ice and had a great time getting cold... oh she did sled a little on our driveway, fell on her bottom one time (and cried and cried).

Then she came in put on some pj's and played with Eli and Elizabeth in the warm house. I made her some hot chocolate to warm up here insides

Caroline thought it would be fun to put Eli in her laundry basket. Then she drug him around the house. He smiled though, so I guess it was fun.
