Caroline got some things in the mail... according to her ups brought them and she was sooo excited. She got two pairs of flip flops (one for beginning of summer one for end), shorts, and a new nightgown. This girl was so excited about her nightgown she put on a special show last night on her toy box, of singing and being a balloon that gets blown up.... i will try to video that sometime because last night was the first time I had ever seen her do that. It was pretty funny.

New Girl Band plus New Nightgown
Caroline and her new friend Sydney held a concert. They stood on the stage (otherwise known as a toy box), each had their own microphone, singing their own song. It was their first time to practice as a singing group, I am sure they will get better with practice:)

Second Game!! Much Better!!!
So Caroline had her second soccer game, but this time we actually knew about when her practice was so she could go and meet all her team mates and learn how to play soccer... It paid off, she did so much better this second game. She and I made a deal that if she ran and tried to kick the ball and did not stand in one place during the game we would invite all her friends and family to her games. She participated in the pep-up chant before the game...
She sat with her teammate on the sidelines waiting for her turn to play...
She kicked the ball...

Ready for Camping Season!!!
We decided to upgrade our tent from last year because three people, plus an air mattress just did not fit well in our old tent. It will still be used for over night canoe trips and things like that, but we have a new big family tent! We put it up as a trial run in the living room... moved all the furniture back so it would fit. It is still a tight fit in the living room, but will be perfect for the outdoors! We just need to rain proof it and we will be ready to go camping! Oh, and a little warmer temps at night for me to be truly happy camping:)

Friends Addition
We have some great friends who just had their precious little girl, after having three boys! They have been so sweet to us since we have gotten to know them. "The boys" (as Caroline calls them) said they would share Anna Faith (their little sister) with Caroline until she gets a brother or sister. Well they have done just that. We had the boys while "mommy" gave birth then we all went up to the hospital to see their new addition. As you can see they are all around little Anna Faith.
She was a little cold and had to go under the warmer and not be swaddled, she is letting everyone know what she thinks about that!
Caroline needed to be near little Anna Faith since she could not hold her yet.
Anna Faith was born the day before the youngest brothers birthday so we all got to celebrate both birthdays with a HUGE cookie cake!
Finally, a little holding and cuddling time!
Caroline later asked when Anna Faith is going home. I told her the Parrish's would take her home on Thursday. She said no when is she coming to our home. You see we joked about us getting Anna Faith part of the time, we would take her during the daytime hours and they could have the night time hours... I had to then explain that she can't come unless her mommy comes with her. I think she was ok with the new plan.

First Soccer Game
Well we signed Caroline's up for soccer this year. It is her first time to ever play a team sport. I am not totally sure what happened but we were not on the team roster so we never got a call about practice or anything. We decided to just show up for the game and see what happens, we did try to practice with Caroline in the yard teaching her the "game" of soccer. Number 1 rule: don't touch the ball with your hands! So Caroline and Greg arrived at the game, found the Freedom team and introduced Caroline. They did not know she was on their team, so she did not have a team uniform (they are the yellow team). Caroline sat out the first quarter so I was trying to show her what all her teammates were doing and for her to do that same thing. Well for the second quarter Caroline goes in....she stands where the coach puts her....she does not move! We yell "get the ball Caroline" what does the girl do? Bend over and touch the ball!!! Remember rule number 1? Caroline did not. We took lots of pictures of her so enjoy looking at her first game:)
Wearing her coat because it was really cold!
