We went to the Mayborn Museum on Baylor Universities campus. It is a science and history museum and the kids had a great time. We went with our friends the Durand's and Capron's.
Caroline and Addi are playing in the "sand" or digging for fossils in the Native American room at the museum. Thankfully all the sand that was in Caroline's hair and clothes came off very easily.
Tepee in the Native American room
Great big piano in the sound room. All the kids and adults could play on it at the same time... as long as the adults don't forget to look for little ones before stepping.
These pink "swords" were also in the sound room. They were supposed to be used to hit round tubes to make different music notes... however the girls were watching their daddy's play and this is what they saw: pink "swords" to hit each other with.
Now when asking Caroline what her favorite thing at the museum was she said "the sand and the cars". She loved to play in the sand and this is the other part she liked the best: Mrs. Moen's Neighborhood. They had little cars the children could drive. Caroline is in the red car.

The hand holding is cute but I'm afraid the sword fighting is closer to reality.
