I don't know if you can tell in the background is a "deer" (I don't remember it's real name) up on it's hind feet trying to eat the bark with a baby coming up to them.
The lion is checking out the Zebra right below him... thinking it might be lunch time!!! Caroline was excited that she was able to hear the lion "RRROOAAARRRR!!!" while she was there. She came home telling her daddy all about that lion.
Caroline and Addi are holding up sticks with bird food on them and trying to feed the birds. Caroline liked feeding them but did not like the birds to fly right by her:) Also the cute lady in red (not watching the girls) is Addi's mommy Tricia for those of you who have not met her!
Of course I could not get them to both look at me at the same time!
Caroline liked petting the calf. I dont know if you can see her mouth wide open excited about touching the animal...
Below is a cute video of the girls talking the the parrots. The sun was in the wrong spot for me to get a good shot of the girls, but you can hear them talking and giggling. They are so cute together.

my kids always love the zoo as well. looks like fun.
um, HELLO! I was so watching them...just not in that picture when I was checking to make sure Jeff wasn't getting into trouble and seeing if Jackson liked the birds (he did). : ) The kids are wiped out from our fun day today.
They are so cute. I'm glad everyone was well enough to go to the zoo. Mom
