Fun at the Zoo

I don't know if you can tell in the background is a "deer" (I don't remember it's real name) up on it's hind feet trying to eat the bark with a baby coming up to them.

The lion is checking out the Zebra right below him... thinking it might be lunch time!!! Caroline was excited that she was able to hear the lion "RRROOAAARRRR!!!" while she was there. She came home telling her daddy all about that lion.

Caroline and Addi are holding up sticks with bird food on them and trying to feed the birds. Caroline liked feeding them but did not like the birds to fly right by her:) Also the cute lady in red (not watching the girls) is Addi's mommy Tricia for those of you who have not met her!

Of course I could not get them to both look at me at the same time!

Caroline liked petting the calf. I dont know if you can see her mouth wide open excited about touching the animal...

Below is a cute video of the girls talking the the parrots. The sun was in the wrong spot for me to get a good shot of the girls, but you can hear them talking and giggling. They are so cute together.

They Do Get Along

See they do like each other. Earlier in the day they were on a chair upstairs and Tamerick has his front paw around Calli and they slept like that. I did not have the camera and I knew as soon as I went downstairs to get it they would have moved by the time I got back up. They are so cute when they get along.


I am not sure if you can tell what this picture is... but I am standing behind the lazy-boy taking the picture. So Calli is curled up on the side and back of the chair sleeping. I just thought it looked uncomfortable... but she did not seem to mind.

PRINCESS

Caroline decided to put on her dress-up clothes over her PJ's. You will notice she has on her tiara (like all princess's wear), her tutu, necklace, purse, and old Dora pj's that are too small:) She had a great time and wore this outfit most of the day.

Playing

Calli likes sleeping in the stroller and Caroline likes to push her around in the stroller and play with her. I tried to get a pic of her pushing Calli in the stroller but none of them turned out very well. So here she is tending to her "baby" Callie!

DAY!!!

Caroline had a slumber party last night with her friend Addi and Jackson (Addi's baby brother), while Addi's parents went to a basketball game. The girls were very excited about matching PJ's. They had a great time playing although Caroline was ready to get up and play at 5am but Addi wanted to sleep until 7am! Must be nice to have a child sleep late:)

Missing Calli

Calli had her hysterectomy and declaw surgery last week. Caroline was really missing her so she started cuddling with Tamerick.... He was not to happy about it, but he also missed Calli so he tolerated the cuddles.

Calli has calmed down quite a bit since her surgery. As you can see she likes to sneak off and fall asleep on Caroline's bed. Caroline is ok with it as long as she is not sleeping. If it is Caroline's nap or bedtime she gets upset if Calli is in her room. She will open the door and throw Calli out.. it is kinda funny.

Duck, Duck, Goose

Caroline is learning a new game... that is
right Duck, duck, goose. Greg, Caroline, and
several stuffed puppies and dolls all sat
in the circle for a fun game. As you can see
from the pictures Callie and Tamerick are
watching but have decided not to play with
them. I have not had the opportunity to
play this game with Caroline but she and
her daddy had lots of fun. I heard lots of
giggles (mainly from Caroline)!

Play House

One of Caroline's favorite things to do at her Granna and Papa's house is to play in her play house. She loves to come into the house through the window as you can see in the second picture. I know most of you will be shocked to know that it fits three adults and one preschooler! We are very excited to see Daddy today. I told Caroline it is Friday and she said "Daddy fly back today"! We love and miss you much daddy!!!
