Kindergarten Graduation

Can not believe how fast this year has gone. Kinder graduation already!! They did a great job saying their lines and singing their songs. It was so sweet to see how much they have grown this year!

Lizzy with her teacher Mrs. Greer! Lizzy absolutely loved Mrs. Greer and has asked her to babysit her sometimes:)
Eli with his teacher Mrs. Newberry. This was the perfect teacher for Eli this year. She worked with him a lot helping him know his letter/numbers/and reading!!

Field Day

Today was field day for the elementary school. Everyone got on a bus and drove to the high schools football field. The kids had a great time playing the different games and having some fun friend time! Below is Elizabeth in the blue and white striped shirt pulling a mat behind her.

Eli was running a little race trying to not get wet by the teachers! (he's in the maroon shirt)

I did not get any pics of Caroline in her events but did see her run some races and took pics with her friends!

Baseball

Soccer, gymnastics and baseball are all over!!! Eli's team came in 4th place out of 6 teams. He is showing off his medal that he won.
At one of Eli's last games he was not feeling well so his coach put him as catcher. He had never played that position before... not sure he "played" it this time either. It was the funniest thing to watch. His first few times he did not even attempt to get the ball... then he finally moves his glove a little... but we parents were all laughing at his lack of effort! I also have a video showing the "catcher gear walk". Poor little guy is covered up with all kinds of equipment and can't walk well!

Newest Farm Member and Sports Banquet

About a month ago we lost 4 chickens to a neighbors dog. We had planned to get a livestock guardian dog but just had not found one yet that was close to us. Well last week, we found one for sale in our own town! Kylo is our new LGD who will grow up with our chickens and goats and learn to protect them. So far the kids love him!!
Last Friday night we attended Elizabeth's gymnastics sports banquet. It was a black/white affair! Elizabeth was nominated for several awards but brought home the Evil Knievel trophy! That means she was willing to try any of the stunts her coaches asked without hesitation.
Family photo... it is not often that we have a pic of all of us... or that we are all dressed up nice!
She also brought home a big pic of herself and a certificate of accomplishment.

Mother's Day Tea with Kindergartners

Eli and Elizabeth's school hosted a Mother's Day Tea. Eli got up and spoke into the microphone about his mom. It was the sweetest thing to hear!
Below is written what Eli said, along with his drawing of his mom.
Elizabeth actually spoke into the microphone, which is a big deal for her. She does NOT like getting up in front of people still, but she did it and spoke about her mom.
In case you can not understand what she said it is written below.

Kinder field trip

Kindergarten field trip was to the zoo! Let me tell you... it was wild and crazy. I think most schools in the area had field trip day that day! Even though the kids are not smiling, they did have a great time! They did all kinds of zoo projects before the field trip and loved getting to see the animals they had been studying!

 Another rhino playing.

Zip-Line

Caroline and her friend Madeline went to a local camp to zip-line. Caroline is on the right on the photo below.
This time Caroline is on the left.
In the video Caroline is on the right again. These girls went about 5 times before we headed home!
