Princess Tea Party

We are on our way to a princess tea party. This was our first year to go and thought we were to dress up like we were princess' not as a princess... so we have on our "fancy" jewlery, dresses, and shoes. Others came dressed as a princess... these are some of Caroline's friends Brianna and Amelia.

There was also a story read about princess'

Caroline is sitting like a lady with legs together (I point this out because she had been showing her panties earlier and I told her she needed to sit like a lady).

All princess' have to show off their stuff. So each one had a chance to "walk the runway" and show their dance moves.

No party is complete without gifts. She has her very own "lip stick" and nail polish now!

Zoo Monday Again

So this time we saw the animals with Nicholas, David, and Emma (and their mommy of course). The train was working today so that is the first thing Caroline wanted to do... but I of course said we need to see some animals first. So we saw some monkeys and gorillas, zebras, worthog, meerkats, and a few others. Then off to the train station we go to wait in line... yes it is June and hot.. but thankfully there was a wheel that the kids (and Martha) got to spin to win a prize and Caroline won an electric fan... just what we need in the heat. Here is a pic of the four precious children... all are looking at the camera except one.. figures!
Now she is looking (after several attempts).
Yes, the carousel again.... I need to warn her that after June she will have to bring her own money if she wants to keep riding it (it is free for June).
I know it does not look like we saw animals because I have no pictures of them... but really we did!
Ok, the below picture does not go with the above pics.. but it was too cute to pass up. I finally got my Tupperware order in today (who knew they still sold Tupperware?) and Caroline could not wait to play with it... I had not washed it yet so i figured it was ok... she had fun. Yes, somehow I got two green lids and no orange lid.. Caroline had a tough time trying to match those up:)

Beach Party

This past Friday MOPS had a play date at Granbury City Beach. Caroline has really been wanting to go and play so finally we were able to go. She and her friends had a great time playing in the water. This time I remembered lift jackets. I also took Caroline's friends Addi and Jackson with me. Below is Caroline and Addi swimming in the lake. Here is Jackson's version of swimming in the lake...
and then Ryan... doesn't he have the cutest curls:)
Here is a pic of most of the kids that came to play at the beach.

Zoo Monday's

We decided to get a zoo pass this year because in the month of June every Monday they open one hour early and have special things for the kids to learn. Last Monday was our first time to go and what did Caroline find? That's right a sand box to play in. She loves her sand! Next we saw a stage coach. Caroline climbed up to get her pic taken. She just forgets to look at the camera.
The Ft. Worth zoo now has penguins. This was our first time at the exhibit and Caroline was all smiles.
We walked all over the zoo (twice). We got their early for the otter training time which is at the far end of the zoo, then some friends came to join us a while later so we walked all the way back to the front to meet them. Later the girls all wanted to ride the carousel (it is free in June) but the train (which is also free in June) was broken so we had to walk again to the far end of the zoo. All that to say Caroline was begging someone to carry her. Kaitlyn who is 6 said she would! The took about 12 steps and was done:)
We ended our outing with a fun carousel ride. You may not see the smiles but to get everyone to smile at the same time was way to difficult for me:)
We will be going every Monday this month so I am sure there will be more zoo pics to follow.

Forgotten Photos

We have been changing things with Caroline's nap time. We needed to adjust it so she would sleep past 5:30am... so I tried to have her just do a "rest" time where she stays in her room. So she got in bed and I gave her some books and cars to play with and gave her the instruction to not fall asleep and just play. I came in later to check on her and this is how she looked... We have sense cut her nap time to only 30 minutes. It is hard for me, but she stays in bed til 6:30am -7am. The next picture was taken after our last MOPS meeting this year. We took home one of the table props which Caroline now plays with.
