One Year Later

I have finally finished decorating one room, after one year of living here. So how long will it take me to have the whole house decorated? As you can tell the first room to be finished is Caroline's room.

First Love

Caroline has a boyfriend!!! Her very first boyfriend. His name is Nicholas and she will tell you she is going to marry Nicholas Demopolous. This is their first time to eat a meal together. It was a table for two and they did a great job eating all by themselves. Caroline has a tendency to get distracted and not eat or throw her food, but she was too mesmerized by Nicholas that she ate all her dinner! Isn't he precious?! Before this picture was taken, Nicholas had moved his chair to where he was sitting right next to Caroline, but us adults knew that would not work with plates and drinks on the little table so he moved across from her but it was so cute. Here are Nicholas' siblings, David and Emma. They all came over for dinner, but David and Emma got to sit at the "adult" table. They all wore themselves out jumping after dinner. We had a great time hanging out with this precious family.
Different Day:
Caroline came to get me to take me to the beauty shop. This is where she took me. It is her beauty shop! I thought it was so cute the way she had everything lined up on the stairs. My spot, by the way, at the beauty shop was on the same stairs as the shoes. It is nice to know someone thinks I can fit in that little spot!

First Circus

Well we went to our first circus with Caroline. She loved it... well the first 1.5hrs. That was her limit. Thankfully it did not last much longer than that or we would have been leaving early. We were in the center of our row and those down the way from us were not happy that Caroline and I left during the performance for a bathroom break. Therefore I was not looking forward to walking over them again (although I probably would have gone the other way and walked over those people!) We really liked our seats though because as you can see we had a railing in front of us so we did not have to worry about Caroline touching the people in front of us and she could stand up if she wanted to.
This is the pre-show entertainment with the elephant painting a picture. I thought we got there too late to go down and watch all of the action like you see the people down there. Which worked out great becaue we had a better view of it from where we were.
We paid for her seat but this was the only time she was in it!

This was pretty neat watching them flip people up in the air from the "tetter-totter". They would have two people jump down to flip one person up.
Caroline liked the tigers the best I think. She wanted to go down and play with them! Then when we left they were selling stuffed tigers and she wanted one of those too:) This was taken during the last 30 min. She would just lay back on her daddy and watch what was going on. Before that she was on the either standing up or she was sitting on the edge of my knees. We were told the circus is scary for little kids, but Caroline did great. She loved the clowns, tigers, elephants, dogs, horses... there was not much she did not like.

I am out of cute titles... so sorry

Caroline had her friend Jackson over to play one afternoon. His mommy was trying to cook dinner for our bible study and Jackson kept wanting to help. So he came to our house to play instead of helping cook dinner. They had a great time playing. Caroline showed Jackson where she likes to play hide and seek so he had to try it out too.

We went into town yesterday and went shopping at Target. We bought several things in their dollar section... such a great section. Unfortunately they did not have their goggles in that section. Caroline loves to swim and has loved watching the swimming events on the Olympics. She wanted her own pair of goggles... so here is what she picked. Watch out Olympics 2020!

Caroline received a prize out of the "Star Jar" for staying in bed and not waking us up at night (something very prize worthy!). Her prize was to watch a movie with the family. We rented Jonah: the veggie tales movie. The video is of her dancing during the movie.

Cousin Time and Summer Fun

So Hannah came out for a little while and we had some cousin play time. They have on their matching shirts and several stuffed animals. They had so much fun playing together at Grandma and Grandpa's house and then going to our house some to jump on the trampoline. We also played in the river. It was in the morning but it was hot!!! So Grandma and I stayed in the shade after I took pictures and Grandpa stayed in the sun/river with the girls. What a great Grandpa he is!!!

Greg and Caroline helped my dad work on his sprinklers in his yard this weekend. Caroline is an expert helper as she has helped her daddy lots and lots of times with our sprinklers. Below are some after helping pics. She had lots of mud/dirt all over her. We ended up just going in the river in her clothes to rinse off and play. This is a bonus picture. YES it is 104 degrees outside!! As you will notice Caroline is has her winter hat and gloves on, as well as leg warmers on her arms. I think she was trying to match her winter moose! Crazy girl!!!
